Field Services Information
Kiser Hydro is able to dispatch dedicated field service teams, each equipped with necessary standard tools for hydroelectric work (other tools available from our field service shop) as quickly as needed. Our field service team uses cranes, including RT cranes, crane and barge, mobile equipment and trucking capabilities to complete the job. Each team is also outfitted with equipment such as portable presses, portable turning equipment and in-place machining (turning and key cutting) and a vast array of field equipment such as propane and diesel welders, generators, pumps, etc.
Kiser Hydro's field service capabilities include, but are not limited to: turbine removal, repair and reinstallation of Kaplan & Francis turbines ranging from 50 KW to 350 MW, as well as pumped storage turbine/generators. We are able to provide diving services, turbine inspection, runner repair, assembly and inspection, and precision alignment, adjustment and PM work.
Our field service teams are adept at handling emergency repairs and can be dispatched at very short notice when necessary. The dedicated field service teams at Kiser Hydro bring many years of experience in all types of hydroelectric maintenance and repair. The field management staff has 30 years of experience.
